Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
This policy explains what LeagueSeer collects, why, and what we don't do with it. It covers leagueseer.com, the iOS and Android apps, and the browser extension. The short version: we collect what's needed to analyze your leagues and run your account, we don't sell any of it, and credentials are encrypted.
What we collect
- Account info: your email and login, managed by our authentication provider (Clerk).
- League data: rosters, drafts, matchups, transactions, and manager display names from leagues you connect via Sleeper, ESPN, or Yahoo. Much of this is data those platforms make available about the whole league, so it includes your leaguemates' public fantasy activity.
- Platform credentials: if you link a private ESPN league we store the two ESPN cookies you paste; if you connect Yahoo we store OAuth tokens. Both are encrypted at rest (AES-256), used only to read your league data, and deletable by you on the Accounts page. We never see or store your ESPN or Yahoo passwords.
- Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your card number; we store only what you bought and when.
- Push tokens: if you turn on draft alerts, either in the mobile app or as an installed web app, we store the device push token needed to deliver those notifications. It identifies a device, not you, and is used for nothing else. Turning notifications off on that device deletes it, and it's removed when your account is deleted.
- Support messages: what you send through the support form, so we can reply.
How we use it
To run the product: computing scouting profiles and predictions, generating AI reports, rendering your leagues, fulfilling purchases, and answering support requests. Computed stats (never your credentials) are sent to AI providers to write scouting narratives and answer league chat questions; those providers process the text to generate a response.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data. To anyone.
- We don't run third-party advertising or ad trackers.
- We don't write to your fantasy platforms, all access is read-only. We couldn't set your lineup if we wanted to.
Sharing
We use a small set of processors to run the Service: hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), authentication (Clerk), payments (Stripe), email (Resend), and AI inference providers. Each receives only what it needs for its job. We'd disclose data if legally required, that's never happened.
Retention
League data stays while your account is active so history-based features keep working. Unlinking a league hides it from your account, and you can wipe stored ESPN/Yahoo credentials yourself anytime on the Accounts page.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from the Accounts page. The same page works on the website and inside the iOS/Android apps. Deletion removes your account data, league connections, saved credentials, push tokens, and support history. If you'd rather we handle it (or you can no longer sign in), email support@leagueseer.com from the address on the account and we'll delete it for you.
Cookies
We use cookies for sign-in sessions and security (and a referral cookie if you arrived via an invite link), not for ad tracking.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and see which features get used. It's privacy-friendly: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers, and the aggregate numbers aren't tied to your account. The same applies inside the mobile apps, which render the website.
Mobile apps (iOS & Android)
The LeagueSeer apps display the same service as leagueseer.com: same account, same data, same policy. The only thing the apps add is the push token described above, stored if you enable draft alerts. The apps don't sell anything: the Season Pass is purchased on our website, and the apps simply honor it. Everything else in this policy, including account deletion from the Accounts page, works identically in the apps.
Browser extension
The LeagueSeer Draft Assistant extension reads only the page URL of Sleeper/ESPN draft rooms to detect which draft you're in. It never reads, collects, or modifies content on those sites, injects no trackers, and communicates exclusively with leagueseer.com to fetch your draft advice (using your LeagueSeer session). Your panel preferences (seat, strategy, collapsed state) are stored locally in your browser and never leave it. Uninstalling the extension removes everything it stored.
Children
The Service isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll say so on the site before the change takes effect.
